How much do original music artists get paid?
Wouldn't it be great to know how much original music artists get paid?
Artists, wouldn't you like to know how different venues stack up against each other for artist pay? Wouldn't you also like to know how your act ranks in pay?
Coffeehouses, bars, house concerts, colleges, festivals... how different are they?
These questions are in 3 sections:
1. solo acts
2. duos (per person pay)
3. trios and groups (per person pay)

- I deal with entertainers for county and state fairs all the time. They never get paid what they want..unless they are big grandstand acts. And, they usually don't get perks either, like hotel rooms and food. Its a hard working life entertainment.

- I liked the shirt that I saw a concert and heard the singer. It reminds me of when I went to see Stevie Wonder. I sang every song with him and when it was over, I realized "man these people came and paid money to hear him not me".
