What Democracy?
This is a Republic. Look for the moral man.
Is a one page flier showing, from common documents, that our government was set up to be a Republic and not a Democracy as is commonly promoted. This flier shows the difference between a Representative of a Republic and a Representative of a Democracy and how a Representative of a Republic is chosen because he is looking to the common good through the use of moral reasoning. The Representative of a Democracy is, ideally, looking to provide "Me,me,me,Now,now, now" for his constituents. But in reality he is normally an amoral man interested in serving himself.
This message is to encourage voters to look for the moral man who has a chance of being a statesman.

Moral or Amoral ?
"Under a Representative Republic you are looking for the most moral man.
Under a Representative Democracy you are looking for an amoral man. That is, a man who would not have morals standing in the way of the majority's will."
What Democracy?
Democracy and Socialism are Siamese Twins
Democracy in Opperation Promotes Socialism
As we have seen in previous articles, a Democracy requires amoral men for its Representatives because a moral man will not give the majority what they want if it goes against morals. So a Democracy moves towards Socialism because the majority have demonstrated by their election of amoral men, that they stand for Democratic ideas which do not safeguard individual rights as opposed to the rule of law in a Republic. So the elected officials have no problems taking from the few to give to the many as that buys more votes. And after all isn't it the elected officials duty in a Democracy to do as the majority wants?
As a result Mr. Democracy prepares the way and promotes his Siamese twin, Mr. Socialism. Eventually Mr. Socialism the controlling bully takes control and sits on Mr. Democracy while installing someone else in control who is more directly supportive of Mr. Socialism.
Don't Curse the Darkness Flip the Switch
The way back to a Republic is, very simply, through understanding. The misunderstanding of the purpose of voting is what destroys a Republic and builds a Democracy. To reverse the destruction and rebuild the Republic the voter needs to understand that his duty is to do what is right.
Once the elected official understands that his duty is to do that which is right he becomes a Representative of a Republic and the switch has been flipped. The light bulb, of understanding, has gone on.

There is a difference between immoral and amoral.
The immoral man understands right and wrong and feels remorse and repentance when he does wrong.
The amoral man has somehow confused himself as to right and wrong and has no remorse or repentance when he does wrong.
The amoral man is usually amoral because he is a liar.
The ultimate punishment of the liar is that he believes his own lie. Then he has no basis for making proper decisions.
What Difference Does it Make? Republic or Democracy?
What's the Beef?
The difference is in the effect of what is brought about by the elected official. If the people voting believe this is a Republic they will vote for men whom they judge will do the best job of upholding the law which includes the moral law.
A MR. Republic would be like a man serving on a jury who is disinterested in himself and is interested in filling the job.
Mr. Democracy is the man elected by those believing this is a Democracy and is intended to be a man who will look after the best interests of his constituents. This man will be more interested in himself and will work to promote himself. Mr. Democracy would be like a man serving a labor union.
The natural tendency is for a Republic to become a Democracy and then for the Democracy to become a Dictatorship.

The Conservative Winds of Change are Blowing
Is the pendelim ready to swing the other way?
The winds of change are brought about by a core group who understands the problem and its solution. Once this group is in place (which I believe the elections show that this group is in place) then that group can educate the voter and be the driving force to make the winds of change blow stronger.
The so called moral majority normally does not get involved in politics as politics has a bad name due to the democratic actions which has changed our statesmen into politicians. With a little understanding of Republics and Democracies the moral majority can easily change the course of history.
Once the people understand the difference in Republics and Democracies they will work to elect statesman who will be moral. The bonus is that those men who have already been elected who believe and vote as though they are in a Democracy can be made to realize their duties to the Republic. At which time they would switch by their actions from being Representatives of a Democracy to being a Representative of a Republic.
