HOW IT'S DONE
The In's and Out's of breathing fire.
All fire breathers create the amazing effect of breathing fire in very similar ways. A small amount of flammable liquid (paraffin, vodka, kerosene ) is placed in the performers mouth. The fuel is then spat out in a fine mist over a flaming wick. This gives the illusion that the fire performer is actually breathing fire whilst not really doing so! Massive flames!
As you will see from the photos on this lens, it's possible to breathe huge flames with enough practise. To breathe larger flames the breather will force more air and fuel out of his or her mouth and also use the wind to assist by carrying the flames further. New Text with BIG Picture
