What is Love : The Song & More Love

Preface: This special birthday tribute was prepared for Achim's 60th birthday on May 7, 2009. We are particularly thankful that our Chef Keem is still with us to celebrate his 61st birthday! Rock and roll Achim ... what is love we ask? Here is what I wrote for that original tribute:

In our lifetimes, if we are so lucky, there will come along a person who will impact our lives in such a fashion that we are never the same! We are never the same, for if this person was not a part of our lives, we would feel such an emptiness. Does that sound too mushy or gushy? Well, I am most certain that our dear ChefKeem aka Achim Thiemermann will understand this sentiment.

It was almost 1-1/4 years ago when I first met ChefKeem through the wonderful platform of Squidoo. It was an instant affection for I knew that this was a very special person. Over this time, I have been blessed with his friendship. I've had the opportunity, like my fellow lensmasters, to roar with laughter at his wonderfully funny lenses -- those lenses that were meant to be funny! And, I've been touched to the very core by those heart-felt lenses of his which have revealed a personal side of him that not many of us have the courage to reveal. His many kindnesses have been witnessed day in and day out in the SquidU Forum AND throughout the internet wherever we are graced with his appearance. People -- this is a special person!

So, when I was asked to be a part of the community's tribute to ChefKeem for his 60th birthday, I was honored. I was honored that I could put into words, from my heart, to let everyone know how much our dear Chef Meister means to me.

Isn't it interesting that music can be such an expressive part of our lives. It can be that special instrument with which we express our feelings. While I am sure that there are many equally inspiring songs out there to capture my sentiment, I have chosen this oldie but goodie by Haddaway aptly titled, "What is Love?" When you check out this specially chosen video, picture this! I am the passenger and ChefKeem is the driver.

P.S. After you have finished enjoying this musical video for our dear ChefKeem, I've got one more for you to see. OK, we all know about ChefKeem and bears! While we know what bears supposedly do in the woods, did you also know that bears can dance? It was thanks to another dear lensmaster poddys, that inspired that idea for my blog post.
