Have you ever been lied to?

Through no fault of their own, people have simply passed the information they learned down to you.  Life is not fun, rewarding or profitable.  There is a way to change all of that.  Using correct marketing principles you can take a mediocre product or service and be very highly successful.  A great product/service without the correct marketing principles in place will continue to be a long, hard road.

Ann Sieg uses shock value to get the message across

You and I both have been lied to .... although innocently enough

Ann Sieg points to 7 great lies that all my team, including myself, have believed since day one of my journey. Most people don't have a clue about marketing although they've started their own business. They get on board, learn from their sponsor, turn around and teach their team and the errors get bigger and bigger as it spreads around the world.

Lie #1 - Everyone can be your prospect for your business! NOT true ! There are really some people who prefer to work 9 to 5, come home, eat, sit down and exercise the remote control of their television. Not everyone wants to own their own business! Some just prefer to leave that responsibility to others and that's OK !

Lie #2 - This really isn't sales - we're just sharing the products with people. NOT true ! As soon as we think we're sharing when there is the behind the scenes profit margin we cease to become the "third party" unbiased friend. We're there for profit and they know it and it doesn't work !

Lie #3 - Anyone can do this. NOT true ! Somebody that is already in a high sales position with a huge circle of influence has a much, much better opportunity to become successful in a relatively short time frame. Someone with no circle of influence will have a much more difficult time of it without first learning the necessary sales and marketing training required.

Lie #4 - We'll build your business for you. NOT, NOT true If they did that why would they need you?? Logical question to ask which would lead you to the correct answer - they won't !

Lie #5 - We have the best product/service ever. NOT true You may believe that and it may be true in your mind but it means nothing to your prospect. No product is going to take off without you doing some hard work to get the message out which boils down to marketing. You need to know how to market and then your top quality product will take off.

Lie #6 - You don't have enough belief. NOT true ! I know far too many people who believe with everything they have and are still not successful AND it is a trap that most people fall back on. Someone on your team is not successful? Tell them they don't believe enough yet.

Lie #7 - The proven system. Not true! As mentioned before the system is often simply a message passed down from someone who knows nothing about marketing to the next person and the next and so on. It's shocking to realize 97% of marketers never reach a positive cash flow ! No wonder they quit.

Sales and marketing skills are the key. The absolute bottom line to achieve those dreams all network marketers have. Move product = make money. Sell more product = make more money. Learn how to market and you have the world in your hands.
