I use a way cool meal planning software program that does all those complicated calculations for me. All I have to do is enter my gender, age, height, weight, body fat percentage, general activity level plus the amount of exercise I do each day. I can use metric or American Standard measurements.

There are 94 different exercises to choose from, so tracking calories burned by exercise and including those calculations is easy.

Once all my numbers are entered, I simply push a button to get my own personal calorie needs for each day that are based on my body type and activity level. There's no complex calculations to deal with at all.

The program gives me a read out of the number of calories I should eat each day as well as a read out of the number of calories I use with general activity and exercise. It will then calculate EXACTLY what I should eat each day by asking me if I would like to gain weight, lose weight or maintain my current weight.

5. It doesn't matter if you are a meat eater, vegetarian or vegan! You can tailor your meal plan to the foods you want to eat.

What To Eat To Get Lean - My #1 Tip If You're Seriously Considering This Software! 

I've been using this software for the last 2 months and have lost 18 pounds. I did learn a very important tip along the way that I want to share with you.

Although this meal planning software allows you to budget for treats such as cake, ice cream, pudding, doughnuts, cookies, and other types of junk foods while staying within your calorie limit, I found that when I ate more junk food I only lost about 1 pound per week.

I emailed the owner of this software program and asked why this was happening when I wasn't going over my daily calorie limit. I was told it was because my body wasn't getting enough of the proper nutrients to be able to let go of the excess fat. He suggested I get more of my calories from nutrient dense, unprocessed whole foods and only budget a treat in once or twice a week.

You might not know it, but a regular bathroom scale can be as much as 5 or 6 pounds less than what a calibrated doctor's scale reads.

When measuring body fat percentages, if you don't take the measurements in exactly the same place each time, you won't get an accurate measurement. I don't know about you, but I'm not that accurate with a tape measure.
