I reuse metal, and turn it into wonderful jewelry and wearable art pieces.

I think just about all of us fall short when it comes to reuse. I do get a lot of things, including most of my clothing from the thrift store -- reusing other people's things. Some items have found their way ito craft things over the years.

I reuse Starbucks Frappachino Bottles. I use them for saving that last bit of coffee from the pot that didn't I didn't drink in the morning. At night when I want a cup I just take my Starbucks Bottle from the fridge, pour it into a cup and Nuke it. They are also good for taking a drink with me from home, be it juice I already have, or water.

Very worthwhile lens--glad to see so many people are in the habit of re-using and re-cycling!
    Newspaper:
use several layers as garden mulch (I like to cover it with grass clippings or straw)
wrap kitchen scraps in it for the compost pile--saves washing a container
spread a few sheets of newspaper out when doing a messy job that doesn' take up much space
