Travelling With A Wheelchair

There are currently millions of wheelchair users in the world, which in our view, have reduced the opportunities to travel unhindered. We wanted to, on the basis of this, find out how well suited it is for wheelchair users in a travel situation, and how they themselves see their travel. For the theoretical part among other things, we have taken note of the different laws in force for the disabled. While attitudes and treatment plays a significant role. By investigating, it is possible to deduce that the travel companies themselves believe that they are doing a great deal to be available to all their customers, regardless of disability. The transport wheelchair users find it different, however. The physical design of multiple carriers, according to them is inadequate. Furthermore, it is common that interaction with the staff is not working particularly well and many holiday homes that are advertised as handicap accessible do not have a stair wheelchair lift installed. The majority of wheelchair users as part of our investigation, however, feel comfortable and well treated when they travel.
