Where Can I Purchase An iPhone

So you've decided that you'd like an Apple iPhone. I'm just going to check out the price of the 3G iPhone.

Looking through the prices of the iPhone at first glance it can seem really expensive.

The cost of the iPhone 3G is anything from

£342.50 for the 8GB - Apple store

£440.00 for the 16GB - Apple store

£538.30 for the 32GB - Apple store

But there are provisos - if you buy from the Apple store you can only use the phone with the Pay & Go service from O2

You can also get an iPhone from the CarPhone Warehouse and its "free" as long as you have the service contract of £34.26 per month. For that you get 600 mins 500 texts but you will be tied to that contract for 24 months with O2.

There is a shorter contract of 18 months but the iphone will cost you £96 plus you get a choice of tariffs:-

£29.38 a month (18 months). 75 mins 125 texts
£34.26 a month (18 months) 600 mins 500 texts.

To get the iPhone "Free" with an 18 month tariff you will be paying from £44 to £73 per month for the privilege.

I did notice is that none of the iPhones offered at the Carphone Warehouse are above 16gb.
