Which Foods Cause Eczema?

Almost any food can cause an allergic reaction, and eczema could be a symptom of allergy. Foods that are commonly associated with eczema are:
- Dairy products (milk, cheese, various cheese creams)
- Wheat products (white bread, rolls, pretzels, crackers, muffins, etc.)
- Acidic fruit (blueberries, canned or glazed fruits, cranberries, currants)
- Sea food (scaly fish, lobster, crab, clams, mussels, oysters, etc.)
- Eggs (all the foods that contain eggs)
- Nuts (peanuts, almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, cashews, etc.)
Best way to determine if your eczema is of an allergic origin is to remember what have you been eating prior to the eczema occurrence.
What Are Other Causes Of Eczema?

Apart from food allergies, there are other factors that can cause or aggravate eczema:
Family history of eczema, asthma, hay fever or any other allergy, especially if both parents have or had these conditions.
Emotional stress has also been found as a contributing factor.
Various irritans, such as weather (cold-dry or hot-humid), air conditioning, wool in clothes, various chemicals and paints.
Other allergens: feathers, dust, pet hair, grass, pollen, cosmetics, washing powder, shampoos.
Eczema Treatment
With that in mind, you should also know that there is the cure for eczema, and I know that comes as a surprise to you, because you have been listening the opposite whole of your life. Thank you so much for this lens. My 15 yr old daughter has had mild eceza off and on since she was 3. We have used Ellicon cream whenever needed, usually in the summer. I had no idea that these foods trigger outbreaks. She could live on cheese.
