Which Foods Cause Eczema

Which foods cause eczema?

What are other causes of eczema?

How do you treat eczema?

These are all FAQ's about this stubborn skin disease and they will be all addressed here.

It is said that for every disease known to man there is a cure known to Nature. But, it is up to us to find those cures. So, there are no incurable diseases and with every new day Nature will be showing us many new ways of treating that what we used to call "incurable".

Which Foods Cause Eczema?

Almost any food can cause an allergic reaction, and eczema could be a symptom of allergy. Foods that are commonly associated with eczema are:

- Dairy products (milk, cheese, various cheese creams)

- Wheat products (white bread, rolls, pretzels, crackers, muffins, etc.)

- Acidic fruit (blueberries, canned or glazed fruits, cranberries, currants)

- Sea food (scaly fish, lobster, crab, clams, mussels, oysters, etc.)

- Eggs (all the foods that contain eggs)

- Nuts (peanuts, almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, cashews, etc.)

Best way to determine if your eczema is of an allergic origin is to remember what have you been eating prior to the eczema occurrence.

What Are Other Causes Of Eczema?

Apart from food allergies, there are other factors that can cause or aggravate eczema:

Family history of eczema, asthma, hay fever or any other allergy, especially if both parents have or had these conditions.
Emotional stress has also been found as a contributing factor.
Various irritans, such as weather (cold-dry or hot-humid), air conditioning, wool in clothes, various chemicals and paints.
Other allergens: feathers, dust, pet hair, grass, pollen, cosmetics, washing powder, shampoos.

Eczema Treatment

It is very important to know that modern medicine has no appropriate treatment for eczema. The whole thing boils down to over-the-counter products, which are Steroids, such as Hydrocortisone, Cortisone 10, Cortaid, or Calamine Lotion. You should know that they actually do more damage to your skin than good. Layers of the skin are getting thinner, the skin ages more rapidly (eg. wrinkles appear before their time), blood vessels in the skin dilate and your immune system weakens.

With that in mind, you should also know that there is the cure for eczema, and I know that comes as a surprise to you, because you have been listening the opposite whole of your life. There are various natural products that do the job perfectly! Many people, the author of this text included, have freed themselves from this stubborn, nasty disease. You can do it too!
