* One-third Scotch Whisky* One-third Irish Whiskey
* One-sixth Lemon Juice
* One-sixth Orgeat Juice
Shake well, and strain into a cocktail glass.
Rob Roy
- Half Scotch Whisky- Half Italian Vermouth
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Shake well with cracked ice and strain into cocktail glasses.
Robbie Burns
* Half Scotch Whisky* Half Italian Vermouth
* 3 dashes Benedictine
Shake well and strain into cocktail glasses.

Whisky is a distilled liquor made from a fermented mash of cereal grains and includes Scotch, Irish, and Canadian whiskys and the various whiskys of the United States. Whisky is always aged in wooden containers, usually of white oak. The name, spelled without an e by the Scots and Canadians and with an e in Ireland and the United States, comes from the Celtic usquebaugh (Irish uisce beathadh, Scots Gaelic uisge beatha, both adaptations of the Latin phrase aqua vitae, meaning "water of life").
