White Tea Benefits
White tea has more benefits to health than any other tea known to man. It was originally discovered in a small province in China a thousand or so years ago. They used to use it as normal tea as well as for healing. Fast forward to 2010 and white tea is increasingly becoming a popular diet option for most westerners. Its easily available and has almost no side effects.
White tea has a more bland taste than black or green tea and is generally suitable for as many as 5 cups a day. What makes white tea a better option is what it contains. Its the purpose of this lens to educate you on how it can make your diet way better than what it already is.

Important!
Most of White tea's healing properties come from the extraordinary amount of antioxidants it contains. Antioxidants have been know to have alot of benefits and white tea is a good way to get lots of em!
#1 - Cancer Prevention
While it hasn't been proven yet, White tea contains alot of antioxidants one of which are called "flavanoids". These antioxidants have special properties that inhibit the formation of new cancer cells as well as remove older cancer causing cells. Now I'm not saying that you should stop your cancer treatment and resort to white tea. Its just that regular consumption of white tea could help reduce the probability of getting cancer. Its more of a new phenomenon and research is still being done. #2 - Lose That Fat
Yep! The favorite one. White tea aids weight loss in a number of ways. It increases your metabolism rate which in turn increases your calories losing rate and you end up losing pounds! It is able to increase your metabolism rate because it contains more antioxidants than any other tea available. This makes it the perfect choice for those wanting to lose weight. Dare I say it works even better than green tea.
#3 - Rededuce That Cholestrol
#4 - Lower Blood Pressure
White tea actually has the possibility of reducing your blood pressure. It does this by thinning the blood and improving your artery function. obviously its more of a long term thing. This means that an addition of white tea in your diet may help in recuing your overall blood pressure if you're someone who suffers from high blood pressure. This isn't intended as a replacement for your meds. its more of a herbal remedy that improves your overall blood pressure.White tea's blood thinning and pressure regulating properties also make it a good way to maintain a healthy heart. It seems then that white tea may be able to prevent heart related diseases to a certain extent.
#5 - Scare Those Bacteria To Oblivion
#6 - Healthier Skin And Acne prevention
White tea also aids in preventing acne. Acne buildup usually occurs due to the high amount of toxins that keep accumulating in the body. Antioxidants in white tea help eliminate excess toxins and keep your skin clear from acne related lesions.
Important!
Information in this lens can not be substituted for expert medical advice. As with all herbal remedies the research done may be inadequate to justify a radical change in lifestyle. It is important to notify your doctor before trying anything new.
