The seven major energy points of your chakras

We have seven major chakra points: The root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, brow and crown. We also have twenty one Minor Chakras but I do not know a lot about them. Each chakra is associated with different colors, scents and hold different kinds of energies.

If a person does energy work like Reiki, they can scan your chakra points by holding their hands right above your skin. The practitioner will pick up warm, hot or cold sensations. This lets them know something is off balanced. In the medical field; equipment is used to read a person electromagnetic field, a Reiki or hands on practitioner uses their hands and intuition.

Practitioners' are usually very intuitive and are aware of different energy vibrations that can occur in someone's chakras. When a practitioner scans a person they can pick up very hot spots which could represent some kind of pain or unbalance. I have personally picked up some ice spots which indicated to me that the person's energy was not in sync with the rest of their energy. It would be the same as when your hand or foot falls asleep, that happens because the blood is not circulating correctly. It is the same with energy patterns that do not move correctly.

Many people are familiar with energy; they are just not as familiar with the name or terminology and/or find that knowing anything about it is relevant to their life and line of work. How many times have you said, "Oh, my goodness, so and so is hyper today or so and so is really dragging today, aren't they?" What about when someone experiences a break up and their heart feels broken? They are experiencing sadness, low energy and feel down right miserable that is an unbalance in their Heart Chakra. Of course this is just an example of how our energy points are affected by life's circumstances. If you are a spiritual person, regardless of what path you walk, you will feel a lot of different sensations in your Third Eye or Brow Chakra, when you get a message from the Divine Force, or that confirmation that what you are doing is the right thing for you.
