WhiteOaks Herb Business and More

I sell a wide range of different items, such as: Anointing Oils-I would strongly suggest that if you plan on wearing these scents on your skin, to mix them with a carrier oil like Sweet Almond Oil, Sunflower Oil or Olive Oil; especially if you have sensitive skin. I use these oils to anoint my candles and an oil burner. Herbs have been used forever by many different cultures, for healing and for magick. I have many herbal tea combinations that I use to sell, that Medicine Men from Pow-Wows have made comments on. Perhaps, one day I will start selling them again. According to some of the medicine men who made comments; told me they were very good combinations I just knew they worked very well for me and my customers. I am always adding new herbs to my inventory so be sure to bookmark my website and check back often. If you have a special request please contact me and I will try my best to find that herb for you.

Here is a short list of items I sell:  Anointing oils, herbs, fairy statues, handmade one of a kind Inspirational faeries, altar items, chime candles, hand poured soy candles, candle holders, oil burners, and so much more.  Come and take a look around:  WhiteOak Art Designs and Herbs

A little More about my Business

My Beliefs About Business

I always have to try and find the right words here because just like any other business person, of course I have a business to make money. Since I have been in business now for about 20 plus years off and on, I believe there is much more to business than just making money.

It is as important to me for my customers to have an understanding of what they are purchasing as to only making the sale. When a customer came into the shop wanting something to help them relax, there were many options. I did not only show them the most expensive options, but the least expensive options as well, I work within my budget everyday.

I have always been like that, and I suppose I always will be. I HATE to be pushed into buying something that I do not have the money to spend it on, and I HATE the fact that some believe the Universe is not big enough to bring abundance to everyone.

I am not afraid to refer my customers to others who carry items that I do not carry. My customers needs and them be able to work within their budget is the most important thing.

Did you honestly think I would forget?

To make an infusion of tea:

Take one or two quarts of distilled or spring water, and depending how strong you like your tea, use 1-4 teaspoons of an herb mixture or a single herb. Bring your water to a boil and pour the water over the herbs. Cover the container and let it infuse for about 15-20 minutes.

Always research herbs that you are not familar with. If you have a question about using a herb with your medication, always speak to your doctor first.

ALWAYS make sure to....

REMEMBER: to always store your herbs in containers with a tight fitting lid (I use mason jar)!

Do not place the herbs in direct sunlight

Be sure to label and date the jars to keep your stock fresh!

When affordable, try to use organic herbs, you will be able to tell a HUGE difference!
