WhiteSmoke Review

WhiteSmoke can be used alongside you current word processor and is designed for both non-native and native English speakers. It is particularly useful if you are a non-native speaker or have difficulty writing.

It is available in several different packages tailored to suit your needs. I can see that they seem to be aiming it at IT specific (e.g. blog writers) and students/pupils that want help with there essay writing.

This is not to say that anyone else will benefit from this product. With a more advanced spell and grammar checker than word WhiteSmoke seems to pick up better on grammatical and syntax errors than Word does.

I can see the product being of particular use to anyone who has recently started a new job for instance and needs help with business or technical writing for instance. Visually it is very impressive and it is very straightforward to use. The only instance in which I would say WhiteSmoke is not useful would be if you already had a fairly good standard of English and a up to date word processor.
