Maybe you've seen a few lenses about written by Whitney... Who is she? What's she all about? Maybe you've wondered these things, but then again, maybe not... But I'm about to divulge a few things about the mysterious Whitney.

Special and Not-So Special Tidbits

Q: Who is Whitney?
A:Whitney is a writer, dog trainer, and gecko breeder, just trying to make her way through college.

She is 20 years old, and has only lived outside of Georgia for a six month stay in Alabama. Needless to say, she returned to Georgia. We've all heard the stories about Alabama... (Well, they're not all true.)

Q: What's her true specialty?
A:Well, Whitney has been working with animals for over ten years. In some cases, off and on. Reptiles have been a hobby, researching, caring for, and breeding, for over seven years. Small animals off and on for ten years; Fish, eh, they're fish, so just a few years off and on.

Whitney has spent the better part of three years studying and practicing the techniques of dog training, to include clicker training and agility.

Q: What animals does she truly have experience with?
A: Well, separating experience into two different categories, via owning, Whitney has had hands on experience with dogs, cats, tropical fish, guinea pigs, mice, leopard geckos, bearded dragons, chinchillas, African fat tail geckos, ball pythons, hamsters, rats, and crested geckos.

She, also, has hands on experience, via the short term care of ferrets, rabbits, gerbils, select finch species, sun conures, jenday conures, parakeets, cockatiels, Columbian red tail boas, California king snaks, milksnakes, select frog species, Blue tongue skinks, Chinese water dragons, iguanas, Savanah monitors, Jackson's chameleons, armadillo lizards, swifts, among other various reptiles.

Sample Lenses

Whitney is fairly new at online blogging and lenses, but here's a sample of her works on Squidoo.

goReptiles

Hobby of Whitney's

About seven years ago, Whitney caught a bug... No, not a virus, but a bug... She caught the reptile fever, researching bearded dragons with a passion. Bearded dragons progressed to leopard geckos, and African fat tail geckos, and ball pythons, kingsnakes, crested geckos, and so on and so on...

Now, she breeds leopard geckos, African fat tail geckos, and crested geckos.

She not only uses goReptiles as a breeding hobby business, but as a way to inform those who are interested in reptiles as pets.

Whitney has hopes to one day add an addition to goReptiles, a reptile rescue of sorts. Once the funds have built up, she will use all her extra caging and accessories to house unwanted and/or abused reptiles until she is able to rehouse them in loving homes.

Hubs of Interest

When trying something new, Whitney doesn't just skim the milk. She takes it whole. Why stop at Lenses on Squidoo, when there are Hubs on HubPages, too.
Dog Fighting
To be an APBT advocate, you may be asking why I would even want to discuss dog fighting and dog fighters. But, I do believe that the history of the APBT should be known and understood, as you can only understand the breed if you understand their ancestry and heritage.
Miniature Pet
Miniature, by definition, is a representation of something but of a smaller, more reduced size. So where animals are already a love in the nation, why not make them, or find them, in a miniature version. These miniature version animal pets make great house pets of the averaged sized animal. Many residence of apartment complexes are big fans of miniature sized dogs, as most apartments have a dog weight limit. Those horse lovers with smaller plots of land can introduce a miniature horse, such as
Ways to Quit Smoking
You may want to be a non-smoker one day. Maybe that day is today... Well have you thought of all the way, tips, and tricks to stop smoking? Natural methods, patches, gum, hypnosis, and acupuncture. Set your mind to it, and go for it.
A Demon Sleeps in My Bed
A few months ago, I braved my life when bringing home a small demon. She was so small, near fragile behind the ice blue eyes. I deemed her M.I.A. Her sharp fangs never pierced my skin, as I had been warned...
Bathing Puppies
You should not bath puppies younger than 8 weeks old. Puppies under 8 weeks can be rinsed with plain water and puppy wipes, but I would stay away from puppy shampoos. And, definitely stay away from any flea...
