Who is Rothman? You say?

In this page, you will learn more about me. I am rather poor at describing myself, so please make do with my attempt. This also contains all of my lenses since I joined mid October 2009.

I first joined Squidoo to make money. Thought it would be easy, but now I know it is hard work! I think I would have left if it wasn't for my awesome fellow lensmaster friends who support and cheer me on. I dedicate this lensography to them. You know who you are.

The picture was taken at the same day as my avatar here in Squidoo -- at Palawan, the most beautiful place to visit in the Philippines. I rarely wear sunglasses -- this one is an exemption!

Isn't "Rothman" a Surname?

Rothman's

Yes it is. However, my father named me after his vice. A brand of cigarettes. Thank you, dad. >:(

When people find out what my name is, there are only two types of reactions:

Either awe -- so unique, a pretty name, a memorable one. Or they laugh -- it is a woman's name (they confuse it with Ruth), a cigarette brand, a weird name.

I have mixed feelings towards my name.

Rothman is a February Baby!

Yup, I am born in the same month as the celebration of Valentines, the Chinese New Year, and Friendship.

Like most people born in February, I am always teased as "kulang-kulang" which roughly translates as "weirdo" because of February's lack of days.

I beg to disagree. I always see Februarians (It is a word now, Webster.) as intelligent, charming people. I am not saying that I am (OK, I just did) but all persons born at the same month as I am are.

Rothman Is An Asthmatic

I have always been an asthmatic as far as I can remember. My asthma was "cured" when I was nine or ten, and it went back when I was eighteen.

Now I know that there is no cure for asthma.

Since I educated myself with my disease through constant research, consultation and joining the Asthma-Free Programme by Glaxo, I became free from asthma burden, and I want to share to the world the good news!

I sleep with the lights on.

No, I am not afraid. I am just used to it, and can't sleep with the lights off!

Roth is a Gaming Addict

I just love video gaming.

My most favorite genres are platform, hack-and-slash and role playing. You won't see me playing sports-type video game. I'd rather play the real game and get fit at the same time.

I have three histories of using consoles until they give up. The last one I broke was my PS3, so right now, I am aiming to blow up my brothers PS2! Wish me luck!

My left index finger does not have a fingernail.

My mother accidentally yanked it off when I was an infant, and it never grew back.

Rothman is Health Concious

All through high school, I have always been the fat one. On the left is a scanned picture of me from my low-budgeted-and-gray-scaled yearbook. It was only when I was in college when I thought of getting fit for health and aesthetic reasons.

Now, I go to the gym to box and lift weights. I also swim occasionally. I haven't made a lens about my sports, aside from fitness boxing. But I will!

I love music. I like listening to awesome artists. I can also play the guitar and the keyboards, both self taught, but I haven't performed for other persons yet. I just play at my leisure.

Random Fact About Me

Most people guestimate my age three to five years less than the correct number.

I am already 24, but most say I look nineteen to twenty. I dunno if that is a good thing or a bad thing, though. I prefer taking them as complements!

Rothman is a Law of Attraction Practitioner

I believe that Attraction exits. That's why I am fixing my future today. People would rarely see me in a negative mood, cause I believe it all starts with how you feel.

I am new to the Affiliate marketing game. I started using Web 2.0 sites mid October, and I chose Squidoo as my home. I made the right choice! I found lots of mentors here, including Michelle, Rajays, Dom, Robin, Carol and Kim. That's Fresh Wonders and Giant Squid Mentors combined. I'm sorry if I forgot anyone. But I am grateful!

Random Fact About Me

I have a near-death experience.

I was around five or six. We went to a river once, and while bathing, I went to the deep part and was sucked into the middle. Good thing I was able to grab a hold of a tall stranger's pants. He saved me just in time.

Rothman Loves to Watch Awesome Dancers

Who doesn't?

I love dancing. Dancing does not love me. I have two left feet. My friend always tell me that frustrated dancers become boxers, and I am the living proof. Mean!

So I settle to watching those who can dance. I am a fan of "So You Think You Can Dance". Robert's audition must be the most entertaining thing I've watched in the entire show. Enjoy.
