Who waits forever anyway?
I always find the song "Who Wants to Live Forever?" sung by lead singer Freddie Mercury from the English Rock Band Queen to be a haunting and poignant reminder of just how fleeting our time here really is.
The lyrics for this song sung by Freddie Mercury, who later died at the young age of 45, have always served as a moving reminder for me to cherish the moments and live for today, since none of us really know just how much time we have.

The song is the sixth track on the album A Kind of Magic, released in June 1986, and was written by guitarist Brian May for the soundtrack to the film Highlander. The song is used to frame the heartwrenching scene in the movie where Connor MacLeod must endure his beloved wife Heather growing old and dying while he, as an Immortal, is forever young.
