Who is Russell Brunson?

Russell Brunson was born in Provo Utah on March 8th, 1980 to Ross and Marde Brunson. His family later then moved to Sandy Utah where he grew up along with his brothers and sisters. Russell loves wrestling and in fact started joining the competition when he was on the eighth grade. He had won the Utah 5A championship in his junior year and took 2nd place in the nation at high school nationals in his senior year, thus earned him an All American honors.


After high school, he took a wrestling scholarship to Brigham Young University (BYU). But the BYU's wrestling team was dropped. Russell didn't join the last year of the wrestling team, instead, went on to serve a two-year mission for his church. He spent the next two years in New Jersey teaching the gospel door to door. With that experience, he received the greatest sales training in the world.

As soon as his mission was over, he enrolled to Boise State University(BSU) for him to continue his passion, wrestling. He wrestled for the next four years, unfortunately he only finished 14th in the country when he graduated. But on his first year at BSU, he was able to find a beautiful wife. Russell and Collete got married 9 ½ months after the first time they met.
