"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed." - Michael Jordan
Michael Jeffrey Jordan (born February 17 1963) is a retired American professional basketball player. Widely considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time, he became one of the most effectively marketed athletes of his generation and was instrumental in popularizing the NBA (National Basketball Association) around the world in the 1980s and 1990s.

RedSportNiac says:
I could say he is the greatest basketball player of all time but not the greatest athlete. There are many great athletes so it is hard to pick one.

Quotes
- "Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen."
"I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying."
"There are plenty of teams in every sport that have great players and never win titles. Most of the time, those players aren't willing to sacrifice for the greater good of the team. The funny thing is, in
the end, their unwillingness to sacrifice only makes individual goals more difficult to achieve. One thing I believe to the fullest is that if you think and achieve as a team, the individual accolades will take care of themselves. Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships." (more quotes)

I believe Michael Jordan is one of the best players to play the game of basketball. He is dedicated, His desire is a assertive one. He's for real everytime he walks out on the floor. he expects his best and the best of his team, then if they fail it understandable they left it all on the game floor.
