She has earned degrees from SUNY Plattsburgh, the University of Bridgeport, and Eastern Kentucky University and is currently working on her PhD from Texas Tech University.

Her Career 

Her career has included serving as a newspaper reporter and editor, magazine writer and editor, published author, web site designer and content creator, e-zine publisher, freelance writer, GED instructor and college instructor. Her primary academic interest is composition studies

Her Present 

Today she lives in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, in the exact spot where the bluegrass meets the mountains, with her husband Tod and their son Noah.
