There are many potential pitfalls when finding a wholesale trophy distributor. You want to find affordable, bulk trophies while not sacrificing quality. Quality is one of the three important factors when buying wholesale trophies. Many companies offer cheap trophies but they can fall apart in transit, require you build them (no fun!), or even have people's names spelled wrong!
Wholesale Trophies - 3 Components
There are three main components to look at when evaluating wholesale trophies.
1. Quality
As I mentioned above, quality is vital! You don't want to give your players, employees, or winners anything which belittles their achievements. Tangible awards such as trophies and awards represent much higher value than an equivalent monetary award. So if you spend $10 on a trophy, it most likely represents a much more valuable prize because of the sentimental value.
2. Price
Prices for wholesale trophies will vary widely depending on the quantity of trophies, size of the trophies, and the amount of lead time before the event. Give the company two weeks or more lead time and let the representative chose which trophy best meets your needs. Sometimes you can receive a deal when the company is already producing several of the same trophy for another order and can "add you on" to that custom order.
3. Service
You want to establish a long-lasting relationship with your trophy and award vendor. There will be many occasions when you will need to order something at the last minute or only require one or two items made. Be sure to find someone who is always willing to help you even when the odds are against them.
