Just a note: NBC/Universal have become quite militant about removing their clips from YouTube, so some of these videos may become unavailable (the one with Stephen Colbert is gone). I apologize for the disappointment, but hope you enjoy the rest of it. Thanks!
Whose Line is it Anyway: just the facts
Whose Line Is It Anyway? (abbreviated to Whose Line? or WLIIA) is a short-form improvisational comedy TV show. Originally a British radio programme, it moved to television in 1988 as a series made for the UK's Channel 4. Following the conclusion of the British run in 1998, ABC began airing a version for the United States audience.
The show consisted of a panel of four performers who create characters, scenes and songs on the spot, in the style of short-form improvisation games, many taken from theatresports. Topics for the games were based on either audience suggestions or predetermined prompts from the host. Both the British and the American shows ostensibly took the form of a game show with the host arbitrarily assigning points and likewise choosing a winner at the end of each episode.

Best of Whose Line: Party Quirks
I love this game! One player is the party host, and the other three have secret personalities or quirks that they have to demonstrate during the course of the party. The party host has to figure out what the others are doing. It's especially hilarious when the quirks are very obscure, and the guests interact with one another while they host is totally clueless. Enjoy!
Best of Whose Line: Let's Make a Date
This is another one of my favorite games on Whose Line is it Anyway. One player is on a dating game, and quizzes the bachelors/bachelorettes, who answer in character according to their secret identities. The quizzer has to figure out who the candidates are, based on their answers. Love it!
