Eureka ! What is your Eureka moment ?
Eureka (Greek :I have found it") is an exclamation used as an interjection to celebrate a discovery.
Probably we all know the story behind "Eureka". So much so had it excited Archimedes that eager to share his realization, he leapt out of his bathtub and ran through the streets of Syracuse naked.
Let me ask you a fundamental question, why do you do what you do?
does it excite you enough, and if not, why are you STILL doing it ?

Why this lens ?
Helping people help themselves..
There is this lovely poem in Hindi, a few lines of which are,

This translates to,
Seeking wine, the drinker leaves home for the tavern.
Perplexed, he asks, "Which path will take me there?"
People show him different ways, but this is what I have to say,
"Pick a path and keep walking. You will find the tavern."
Mesmerised by the beauty of these lines,I could not help but question myself, "Who am I , and more profoundly, who will I be in ten years time"
This lens is to spread passion, a passion that is overwhelmingly follows in whatever we do,a passion that drives us answer "that" fundamental question of our existence.
This lens to help you answer this question,or may be if not, enable you to dig your self into it,till you find it.
It is a promising journey to self revelation, and as you would find,it is not going to be easy to prick you, nudge you, because what you are today, is a result of series of systematic learning, and unlearning is rather too difficult.
I am still on my journey towards self revelation, because you cannot walk on a path that has been planned years ago, simply because circumstances changed, your priorities and even YOU.

Are you expecting a letter under your bed to tell you what should you do with your life ?
Because it will never be there
There is this book about, What Should I Do With My Life? At the core of it, it narrates the story of people who have answered the question themselves, like a story about a runway Gypsy , or that about being a new person while STILL being in the same job.But there is something that it,or for that matter any book can never, and will never answer for you , "What do you want to do with your life", because it is YOUR life .
and by all means you should figure out why are you not doing what you want to ?

Why do you do what you do,and how can you do it better ?

Here is an amazing video by Tony Robbins ,I love it for it's clarity, for it "human needs " that it talks about, the science of and behind achievement .
what is it that excites you,and if what you are doing, does not excite you, why are you STILL doing it ?

The Einstein factor
Why are you not living enough?
You are smarter than you think. In fact, your subconscious holds the same mental powers as some of the greatest minds in history. In his book, the Einstein factor, Win Wenger, Ph.D. , quotes that "Geniuses are little more than ordinary people who have stumbled upon a technique for widening their channels of attention. Superior thinkers may be the result of mental conditioning rather than genetic superiority"
If that be true, you can condition your mind to be a peak performer.
There is this form of exercise that provides the missing link between creativity and exercise. It is called "Solvitas perambulatorum."
Yes, that is to say, that creativity can be inculcated and nourished .Just feed it enough :)
More on this in my next lens.
Lance Armstrong - On Surviving Cancer
Indomitable human spirit
Lance Armstrong is an American professional road racing cyclist who rides for UCI ProTeam Team Astana. He won the Tour de France a record-breaking seven consecutive years, from 1999 to 2005.
Armstrong was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 1996 but fought it and went on to win the Tour de France a record seven times.
Not only that Lance through his Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) is 'inspiring and empowering' cancer sufferers and their families, under the motto "unity is strength, knowledge is power and attitude is everything."
Think about it, are you less blessed, what is it that is stopping YOU, withholding you from being a go getter ?

You don't need any motivation !
All you need is a belief and persistence to push through it ..
And now the good thing and the bad !The good thing is that you don't need any motivation. Just little push around here and there.
In his book the Dip, Seth talks quotes "Winners quit fast, quit often, and quit without guilt-until they commit to beating the right Dip for the right reasons. In fact, winners seek out the Dip. They realize that the bigger the barrier, the bigger the reward for getting past it. If you can become number one in your niche, you'll get more than your fair share of profits, glory, and long-term security."
That is to say that winners identify what they cannot be BEST at, and stop doing all that at best will make them just mediocre.
Who are you fooling around by trying to be EVERYBODY ?
And the common man is not common anymore !
We are moving from the information age to the conceptual age, and the future belongs to those working for themselves .
This the best I can give you

The frog and the nightingale
Before I leave you to yourself !
As goes the legend with the frog and the nightingale, you will always find bozo's trying to overpower you and tell you why you should do this or that.______________________________
'm the frog who owns this tree
In this bog I've long been known
For my splendid baritone
And, of course, I wield my pen
For Bog Trumpet now and then"

If there is a way, you will find one,
And if there be none, I am sure, YOU will make one ! ^ _^

- Most people allow themselves to be at the mercy of circumstance and happenstance. They never take control of their lives, therefore they continue to do the same old thing. Everyone is searching for self revelation and purpose whether they realize it or not. Finding the proper purpose in life is not always easy, but it is always worth the effort. We are all seeking the same destination, but as you say in your lens there are many paths. If only we could concentrate on the journey and the goal and not the path chosen by others, we would be much better individuals.
