German: The Next Language of Business and Politics

Are you still asking, "why learn German?" Learn German to be on the leading edge of business and politics. All of Europe is a changing and dynamic place. After World War II, things in Europe were status quo for a long time. But the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Soviet Union changed all of that. Germany was divided after World War II but reunited in 1991. Other countries which hadn't existed for decades or even centuries appeared again on the European map. And here is Germany right in the center of that map. Germany is starting to take a leading and influential role in politics, business, economics and industry not just in Europe but the whole world. If you want the answer to "why learn German?", I believe it will be very beneficial to know and speak German in the near future. German will increasingly become the language of business, industry and politics and you will be ahead of your peers to take advantage of these opportunities.

Ok, Are You Still Asking, "Why Learn German"?

You Will Find German in Music, Movies, Poems and History

There's been so much written and said about Germany over the past 200 years. And if all you read are English translations, then you are depending on the translators to accurately express the meaning of the original German. So much German literature, like Goethe and Schiller, so much German history, so many German fairy-tales have been translated into English. World War II - German infantry in combat Wouldn't you like to read these works in the original German to get their full meanings? I've learned a lot of German in the last 20 years, so now I can enjoy many things in German like movies, German literature, German newspapers and magazines (I have a subscription to a German newspaper) and books about German history. I like history and now I can read about Germany's experience in World Wars I and II and understand these wars from the German standpoint.
