Being a girl, Stephenie Meyer wrote the Twilight saga lived where she knew: in the girly world. She created Bella Swan to be maybe a little of what she is and as a girl I'm sure Edward Cullen was her fantasy, as is mine. Not from now, not from ten years ago, but since when I started thinking.

For many reasons the book was a hit for females, and later, the movie. Most men hated the movie because Edward sparkle, not literally but he calls for too much attention in the movie, so the guy looked aside and saw his girlfriend all sparkled for Edward and course, he didn't like it. Robert Pattison is charming and only by moving around in the movie, every female would stop to watch.

But guys should watch the movie...and learn!

First of all, or the reason number one: Edward Cullen listen!

Men needs to think about one thing at a time while women can think about many things at the same time, that doesn't make one better than another, uh, well...but the reason come from antient times when men needed to think about hunting while we were in the cave taking care of the kids. In many families, the way of living continue the same...

So that's why when we talk (girls) most of the guys (our ex-boyfriends) weren't listening. Although we want to talk, to express, we are not only needing to put words out our mouth, we want opinion, we want eyes on us and to know that the guy is really listening. It's a great pleasure for a girl to have a guy listening to what she is saying, many of us fall in love because of that.

So Edward Cullen listens, he really does. He is interested and it's important. It's not Robert Pattinson, it's the way Edward pays so much attention and cares that really hit girls. Months could pass by and Edward still remembered something Bella said, and still was important.

Edward Cullen is a gentleman!

I can't help smile when I see he opening doors to her, going firsts so he can open (of course he has the advantage of be holding the door nob before she moves, but still), pull her chair in the restaurant, even watch her eat (and he doesn't want to eat, he wants something else), he buy her the kind of present that flatters Bella, he watch her sleep without jumping over and specially: protects her. My guess is he would stop that car even if he got smashed like a tomatoe and without his superman's powers. We like that, yes we do.

Edward Cullen let her have a male friend!

I know, this is impossible. For my experience there isn't such guy friend that want just to be a friend, but he let her near Jacob because he loves her so much. It doesn't seem so, but true love is like that.
Bella didn't loose anyone for him, he doesn't ask her to sacrifice, he sacrifice him self. Then we see slowly she starts to sacrifice for him as well, at her own time.
Times changed and girls are not respecting their selves as we should do, no wonder there are so many crying. If we don't wait the right time (you know what I mean) and the time that we want to do things, for all things, guys won't respect the girl.
She doesn't even have to worry about that, because he is all respect.

I'm sure our grandmothers would say that the way things go to Bella is absolutely normal, and it should be, but not in the 2000's. Things changed. While shouldn't.
Girls with good selfesteem like things nice and slow, otherwise you can bet they don't love them selves. Bella does, she acts with her heart alright but she respects her self.

Edward Cullen is available!
Girls who doesn't like available guys, that goes after the married ones or the ones who have a girlfriend, again must have low selfesteem problem, and what a big problem that is. Let's concentrate in the normal ones.
The normal ones like a guy who knows her value. He comes after us, he makes time for us and sacrifices. Well, I love that. As soon as the guy start to pretend being buzy I loose interest, because no girl is like other girl why would he just be into me and then don't? Go find another then.

Edward Cullen remains calm!
When Bella is all freaked out about something, or even angry he is mature enough to just let her put it out. He remains all peaceful, sort of like a father. That's why there are many girls who prefer older guys, they give us some prepective of security that only comes with maturity.

Edward Cullen doesn't hurt!
Even when he hurts Bella he didn't hurted, he done all for being so worried about her. I mean he thought she was going to get killed so he just run away before that happen. We all got a little angry with him in New Moon, but he had a good reason for that. And now he does everything to apologize for what happened. That reminds me of...

Edward Cullen says "I'm sorry"!
Maybe it's the male pride but it's hard for men to say they are sorry.
Being humble like Edward is shows again, maturity. It's good for the relationship to have a guy that knows when he is wrong and apologize for that. It's easier to go on.

Edward Cullen changes!
For all human kind the ability to change is small, it's so hard to change, almost impossible sometimes. Because most of the times we wait until make a big mistake, reaaaaally regret it and then go undo what's wrong.
After leaving her, he now shows how he would never do that again. It's okay to make mistakes, but once realized they shouldn't be commited again, for the relationship sake.

So...Edward is dreammy. A fort, her north, where she can go when the whole world has left her behind.
We didn't fall in love for the movie, the actor or anything.

Deep inside, Edward Cullen is the first carachter on the movies to be our child fairy tale coming true.

Or do you think Jacob really loves Bella? He let her think Eddie was dead. That's making her suffer.
So...It's Edward Cullen the big motive there are billions of girls waiting for the next Twilight saga while they keep watching the previous at home...in secret.
