I use Hostgator. Here is why.

I use Hostgator to host over 30 different websites. Some of them are big ol' blogs like this one, and others are smaller single page sites like this one.

I use Hostgator because they are good. They are reliable. And easy to navigate.

They're also a pretty cheap date.

So here is some information about Hostgator hosting.

And that is why I like hostgator :)

Hostgator's Support 

Let's say it's getting late, and you're just trying to find a answer to something you've been trying to solve nearly all day... It's getting late... you are determined to not let it beat you... and you JUST want to GET IT DONE before the day is over...

Then you remember something. Hostgator is better than most other companies! Aha! So you pop over to the hostgator homepage, you click 'Live Support' and a conversation window opens. You type your name in... and you wait a few seconds. Maybe like 2 minutes. And Oh Hello! Who is this? A hostgator employee is there in the box typing to you.

You ask them your question, they answer it, and you are freeeeeee to go to bed - problem solved.

And that is the story of the effectiveness of the Hostgator customer service :)

I've done this many times. Completely forgotten that they were ready and waiting to answer my questions any time I needed. I would try and figure something out - like 'what if I need to create a wildcard dns for an installation of WPMU?' - and I would be searching Google for ages... then it would hit me. I had completely forgotten to ask HOSTGATOR. And they will get me my answer damn fast. Thanks Hostgator :)

I wrote this page because a while ago I decided to make pages recommending the things I use every day. Why? Because sometimes when I am looking for information on the internet all I can find are advertising sites. All I want to find is someone who says 'This is good, I use it myself'.

So that's what I have done here.
