Nintendo is planning on getting you in shape with Wii Fit.

What is Wii Fit? 

When Wii was introduced it received a lot of attention from groups who had previously complained that video games was aiding in the obesity growth of our children.

When using Wii you are more physically active and when using Wii for several hours a week you can burn a fair amount of calories.

Nintendo wanting to add to this activity designed system, has introduced a Balance Board controller and 40 mini-fitness games intended on helping uses lose weight and get in better shape.

Enter Wii Fit

The main component of Wii Fit is the master Balance Board. The Balance Board is a thin, wireless pad that has a similar look and shape of a standard bathroom scale yet this Balance Board controller can perform many tasks.

The Balance Board can check your weight, track your BMI, check your center of gravity so you know when you body is out of alignment.

The Balance Board can also be used for  step aerobics, yoga, balance training, and  strength exercises like push-ups.

The Balance Board is be packaged together with 40 mini-fitness games and the package will is Wii Fit.

Wii, which has taken over as the gamers product of choice is expanding it's horizons to appeal to older users and those who want to add fitness into their life but don't have the time to hit the gym.

Just 20-30 minutes of playing with Wii Fit will allow you to have fun while melting fat and increasing your fitness level!
