Wii Welcome You

Wii is the hottest fitness craze in a long time. Hi, Larry here. That's Mii there on the left. Beth and I will tell you about Wii Fit from a personal point of view.

And we'll tell you where you are most likely to be able to find and purchase Wii Fit products.

Hi, I'm Beth

Wii Fit Will Help You Lose Weight

Larry and I began using Wii Fit not too long ago, and we have found it to be a wonderful way to get off the couch and burn calories.

(Ask Larry who's kicking his behind in just about everything!!!)

It's hard to describe just how much fun we're having with our Wii. But we're actually working out and playing games about 2 hours a day.

What is Wii Fit?

Wii Fit is an interactive exercise program that you hook to your television. Be prepared to be amazed at how much Wii knows about you. It's the closest thing to artificial intelligence we've seen.

Larry again. One day I missed working out. The next day I signed on and got the message, "Too busy to exercise yesterday, eh?"

The Basics of Wii Fit:

The Wii Fit program consists of a Wii Console, a Wii Remote, a Balance Board, and the software CD. To participate fully in all the exercise programs you will also need a Wii Nunchuk.

Using Wii Fit:

The console hooks to your television set. The console is where you put the program CD when you're ready to play.

The Wii Remote is how you communicate with the program, change screens, choose games or exercises, enter information about yourself, etc.

The only thing we've used the Nunchuk for so far has been boxing using both Wii Fit and Wii Sports.

Wii Fit Exercises

Over 40 fun exercises in Four Training Modules

Wii Fit is made up of four Training Modules: Yoga, Strength Training, Aerobics and Balance Games.

Aerobics was our first exercise program because we wanted to do a little body trimming, if you know what I mean. And, of course, our first aerobic workout was with hula hoops.

We moved into Step Aerobics and, then, Downhill Skiing. Everything we've done has been fun.

We would recommend that you concentrate on Balance Games next because Yoga and Strength Training require balance. And, trust us, Wii knows how well you're balanced and when you try to cheat on the exercises!!!

Where in the World is Wii Fit?

Here's where to buy what you need.

Our journey began with someone telling us they'd seen a Wii at Best Buy. The sales person told us they were selling out as fast as they could get them. Then we were told they were at Toys R Us. Same story. We ran through the online stores where we usually shop. No Wii's anywhere.

We felt kind of silly when we finally thought about the Amazon Wii Fit Store. After all, Amazon is the biggest seller of our book.

The great thing about that store is that the products are broken down into categories that make it much, much easier to find what you want.

Please note that individual products may state they are not available at that store. If that happens, just click on Other Options and it will take you right to the product.

Get the Ultimate Wii Experience is a whole new way to maximize your Wii.

At this site you will find downloadable games, movies, TV shows and more than can turn your Wii into a Media Center.
