The Outdoor Life in the Luxury of Your Living Room
This is an excellent game for working up a sweat.
I use Wii Fit one day, Active Life Outdoor Challenge the next day. You can really burn the calories off and lose weight with these games.
There are over a dozen games, each with multiple levels of play: river rafting, mine-cart adventure, log jumping, see-saw, jump rope, water trampoline, plus many more! This is for the more active minded Wii participant. This should out do Dance Dance Revolution in sales.
Namco has issued this as a first in a series of Active Life - Outdoor Challenges. This could get to be more popular than Wii Fit because two people can play together. Namco also brought us Wii Ski, which you can use the Wii Fit Balance Board. It looks like they have a winner with this game!

Get Active With the Active Mat!
This is the core of the game. It is very much like the Dance Dance Revolution Mat, except the The Active Life pad has 8 digital buttons that activate with pressure from the feet, while the Dance Dance Revolution has 4 pressure points.You also have to plug it into the Wii Console like the Dance Dance Revolution pad.
It is not at all as sensitive as the Wii Fit Board.
You can also have two people on the Active Life pad, especially in the co-operative games, like the mining cart game.
But if you want to play with more people at a party, you will need another mat. This is a great party game, with lots of action and fun activities.

While many of the games are competitive. There are games that encourage a spirit of co-operation - like the mine cart race. In the mine cart race, two people will have to move side to side to keep the cart on track as they race through a mine shaft.
In the Waterfall jump one person jumps to simulate climbing up the side of a mountainous waterfall. While climbing the players partner moves the Wii Remote up and down to simulate pulling them up the waterfall with a rope.

Some Great Wii Fit Sports Games
I am not a gamer, games generally bore me. Sitting around and moving your thumbs on a controller has never been my cup of tea.
But now with the Nintendo Wii, I play games too much. With Tiger Woods Golf, I can stand up and swing the Wii Remote like a real golf club. I can golf without paying all those green fees. With Wii Fit I can exercise in the comfort of my own home. I am now looking forward to the Active Life Outdoor Challenge.

Nintendo Wii Games
I thought that I would never be a gamer, until I came across the Nintendo Wii. There are a lot of Activity oriented games. Most other game consoles require you to sit on a couch and twiddle your thumbs. The Wii console allows you to get up off your butt and get your whole body involved in the game! It is great. I never thought that at 48 I would slowly start to become a gamer!
