The Wii console can communicate with the Internet even when the power is turned off. The WiiConnect24 service delivers a new surprise or game update, even if the system is idle. Users can connect wirelessly or by using a Wii LAN adaptor.

Pros: Nintendo had break through on the controller design from the conventional controller to a TV like wireless remote controller. Those who are having the GameCube games have no worried as it is 100% backward compatible. Built-in SD slot for storage and photo viewing is fun with the editor it had. It is smaller in size with irresistible price offer.

Con: Had lesser value added features. It doesn't come with hard disk. The remote controller consumes batteries. It does not have HD graphics and surround sound compare to it competitors. CDs and DVDs lover will not be able to play their music and movies with it. The sensor bar need to place near the TV to make the remote controller workable.
