- Wikibooks is a collection of free textbooks, manuals, and other texts, with supporting book-based texts, collaboratively written on a wiki.
- Wikinews
- Wikinews is a free content news source that allows citizen journalists to independently report the news on a wide variety of current events. Wikinews content is available under Creative Commons Attribution license.
- Wikisource
- Wikisource, The Free Library, is a Wikimedia project to build a free wiki library of primary source texts, along with translations of source-texts into any language and other supporting materials.
- Commons
- The Wikimedia Commons is a repository of free content images, sound and other multimedia files that can be used on all other Wikimedia projects.
- Wikiquote
- Wikiquote is a reference of quotations from prominent people, books and proverbs.
- Wikispecies
- Wikispecies is an open, free directory of species. This will cover animalia, plantae, fungi, bacteria, archaea, protista and all other forms of life and will be developed in close connection with other wiki-projects, especially Wikipedia.
- Wikiversity
- Wikiversity, the free learning network, is the newest Wikimedia project. Wikiversity is a community for the creation and use of free learning materials and activities.
