How to Choose a Deer Feeder

At Moultrie Feeders, we manufacture several different models of wildlife feeders to meet the many demands of our customers. The key to viewing wildlife under a feeder is knowing when the feeder will cycle. Moultrie Feeders accomplishes this task with two types of electronics. They are Photocell and Programmable Timer Electronics.

Photocell Electronics are a reliable method of feeding twice a day. A photocell eye triggers the motor to dispense feed at both dawn and dusk. Variable cycle times allow you to adjust the amount of feed dispensed per cycle.

Programmable Timer Electronics allow you to set the exact time you want the feeder to cycle and the amount of feed you wish to dispense. Our timer allows you to feed up to four times per 24 hour period and dispense up to 5 pounds of corn at each feeding. The Programmable Timer is enclosed in a plastic case to give it protection from the elements.
