Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Little Walter, Mose Allison, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, The Yardbirds, Cream, The Animals, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, The Doors, Paul Rogers, Koko Taylor and numerous other artists have had so much success covering Willie's tunes that his credit for writing them has been overshadowed, but thank heaven he wrote 'em!
