"Pure Imagination" is a song from the 1971 movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. It was written by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley specifically for the movie and does not appear in the original book by Roald Dahl or the 2005 film adaptation by Tim Burton. It was sung by Gene Wilder (Willy Wonka).

Great Lens! Willy Wonka is definitely one of my favorites of all times. I think my favorite part is where the Oompa Loompa's are first introduced. I still catch myself singing their song once in awhile. Thanks for the great memories!!

When Charlie gives back ( as poor as he is ) his Everlasting Gobstopper back to Willy Wonka..this is the kind of honesty Willy Wonka was looking for.. none of the rest of the kids had it they were only Brats! I love this movie great message.
