Which event are you going to attend?

Don't panic! You may think that this question has nothing to do with how to buy Wimbledon Tickets Online. But I am just asking you this because most of the times when you are not sure about the event you are going to attend, the ticket sellers mostly confuse you giving the choices.

Wimbledon remains one of the very few major UK sporting events for which you can still buy premium tickets on the day of play. Approximately 500 tickets daily for each of the Center (except for the last 4 days), No.1 and No.2 Courts are reserved for sale at the turnstiles.

Roughly 6000 Ground Admission tickets are available each day for entry to the Grounds, including the No.2 Court standing enclosure and unreserved seating and standing on Courts 3-19. This number may vary depending on the number of people already in the grounds, the number of courts in play and the weather.

In order to buy Wimbledon Tickets Online, you will get so many options but there are a few things to be considered first. The number one thing is that while purchasing the tickets, make sure that you make your purchase before the play date. Since, most of the sellers increase the price till then and you will end up paying more.

For example;

Wimbledon's 2008 Championships: 23rd June - 6th July 2008

The majority of Centre, No.1 and No.2 Court tickets are sold in advance via a public ballot. Entry into the ballot does not automatically entitle applicants to tickets for Wimbledon but a place in the draw for tickets.

What are the Sources of Buying Tickets Online?

To buy Wimbledon Tickets online, you can use British Tennis Members Ballot, Tennis Federations, Affiliate Organizations or Debentures. But to get a genuine ticket (Since, the tickets are non transferable and most of the sellers sell the tickets of people not attending the play), in time, I have used Barry's Tickets and they are genuine people. The last time I purchased a debentures ticket through their site and it reached in time to me. So, I can just recommend you what actually worked for me. Just go to their site here and select the seat. You will then further be taken for payment process. Just complete steps prompted and you are done!
