Wind Generation is a growing form of green energy being supported around the United States and around the world.
You've seen them springing up in different places around the country, tall white win turbines with their blades spinning in the winds. We have two of them just north of Lincoln, Nebraska owned by the local electrical utility. There are several other wind farms located in various parts of Nebraska. Wind energy is one way that we are trying to find alternative energy sources to reduce our dependence on coal and oil.
Here are links to various wind projects around the country
I'm starting with the project I'm familiar with in Nebraska, if you know of ones in your area, please add them to the list!
Kudos to these companies and communities for trying to increase our use of renewable, green energy sources.
