What Is It
The registry is essentially a centralized directory or database. In other words, any change you introduce to your system is shown in the registry. Windows registries are present in Windows 95, 98, NT, ME, CE and 2000. This is only natural since many people do not even know that there is such a thing as a Windows registry. It is important however to be concerned about registry problems.
