Wine is such a fine art that people around the world participate in wine tasting, wine clubs,buy the best wine glasses and fine wines on the market. Buying a bottle of wine is not that simple, especially if you are buying for someone else. There are red wines, white wines, rose wines, sweet wines and dry wines along with many other selections to choose from. Once you have chosen your wine you need to select an appropriate wine opener, wine aerator and wine stopper. Many people also like to pour their wines into wine decanters for presentation and decanting the wine. You need to know your wine glasses, making sure you know a white wine from a red wine glass. Do you have a wine rack to properly position your wine and a wine cooler to keep it at the right temperature?

What is a Wine Cooler /Wine Refrigerator?

Wine Refrigerator-Also referred to as wine cooler is like a refrigerator but set to a more optimal temperature suitable for wine. Wine should be kept at a constant temperature to
maintain its quality. When wine is kept in a refrigerator that is constantly opened and closed, the temperature fluctuates causing the wine to spoil. The best place to keep wine is in a wine cellar for long term storage but wine refrigerator will do for more frequent consumption. Other types of chillers and coolers are devices that bring the wine to the proper serving temperature but are not storage units for wine.

There are different types of wine glasses for different types of wine. Wine Decanter-A wine decanter is a glass (often led crystal) serving container that assists in the decanting of wine, which is a process of separating the wine from the sediments. A Decanter normally holds .75 litres of wine which is the standard size for a bottle of wine. Many wine decanters come with a tight fitting topper which sometimes contains a rod to aid decanting. Wines such as Chianti and Pinot Noir should not be decented due it's delicate nature. White wine decanters

Carafe- A carafe is a glass container which can be used to serve wine and other drinks. It does not include a topper. White wine is good for a carafe to allow it to breathe before being poured.
