I decided that I wanted to show a true story about promoting GlobalWon Plus and so have started this lens in order to document just that. It will be like a review of GlobalWon Plus. We shall see what it takes and how long it takes to make money out of it.
Why am I doing this?
Many people look on the web to find out what a product is like and whether or not it is worth buying. The only information they usually find is something between a load of old codswallop and pure fantasy. It is often a review or forum entry by someone whose sole motive in writing is to send you to their affiliate link. That person may not have even bought the product.
I decided that I wanted to show a true story about promoting GlobalWon Plus and so have started this blog in order to document just that.
Hopefully I will get to be one of those 5 figure income people that you hear so much about. If I do then everyone who reads this will know what it has taken to get there. If you live in USA you are unable, as yet, to participate in this product either as a member or affiliate but you can keep an eye on my progress if you wish.

Prior to Day One
A couple of weeks ago I was invited by a forum friend to join GlobalWon Plus . At that stage I had visitors staying with me and did not wish to join something new when I had no time to devote to it. Yesterday, 24th August 2008, the house was empty of visitors so I registered. I have gone in as a "hearts" member because I cannot afford to be a "spades" or "diamonds" member yet. I am hoping that my winnings will allow me to upgrade shortly. It was a bit late in the day to do any work on promoting so I am counting 25th August 2008 as my start date.

Upgraded my website
I am going to write this as it happens so you know how long it takes and how much effort it takes to get going as an affiliate and make some money. If you are an experienced internet marketer or have a many friends then it may be a lot quicker for you. Being an affiliate is an art in itself.
Today I have put my photo onto my profile and decided to leave the text part of it more or less as it is. It seems to be a pretty good writeup and does not need changing apart from an additional paragraph, at least at this stage.
I emailed the support team because I wanted a change made to my website then I immediately discovered I could make the change myself very easily. A quick followon email to the support team to hopefully stop them from bothering with my query was replied to within minutes. They were pleased I had sorted it out myself but assured me they were there for any help in the future. A very quick response from the Support Team.

What to do next?
I have spent a lot of time today thinking about how I am going to promote this wonderful opportunity. I must remember that it is not available to Americans at the moment so I must mention that whenever I write something.
I have started by posting a forum entry in the Wealthy Affiliate University forum. You never know, someone may join up overnight and tomorrow I may see an entry in my downline. Well - it may happen that way. Then again, I probably do have to do more work as nothing comes to us for free. Some effort is always required, even if it just means buying a ticket but at least I have started. I have also written this lens. I would have "pinged" it with Pingoat but it appears that Pingoat is out of action for a while so I went to Marketit and did it there. Maybe you, the reader, will join up overnight and my downline will really start to rock.

Day Three 27 August 2008
Well no-one took yesterday's bait. Surprise, surprise.
Today I worked out how to send a group message to my contacts at a networking place, Direct Matches. Was able to send one out to 60 people but there is a limit per day of 60 so I have to wait till tomorrow to do any more. Worked out what to send to my friends when I have decided who would be the best to benefit from it (prior to launch - after launch everyone will be able to benefit). Today is the first prize day. Wouldn't it be wonderful if I won 10,000 euros? Or even 50 euros? It would be a start anyway.
