Warm Sleepwear and Blankets for the Winter Season
All you need to keep warm through the winter nights is right here on this lens. I've included 15 tips to keeping warm in bed, a variety of warm sleepwear including footed and thermal pajamas, robes, heated slippers, blankets, heated matress pads, toe socks, and beanie caps, as well as pajamas and snuggies for pets, and videos on how to make a dog house warm and how to make a no sew blanket.
Tips For Keeping Warm At Night

- Wear a knitted cap/hat to bed. A lot of body heat can be lost through the head.
- Sleep with stuffed animals. Although this sounds silly, stuffed animals can actually help to insulate you.
- A good way to warm up your hands is to breath on them or sleep on them.
- If you sleep on a bunk bed, sleep on the bottom so you can tape up a blanket that covers the front of it. This will help to keep the cold air out.
- Right before bed, go for a walk or do a few jumping jacks or push ups. This will help to rise your body heat.
- Use layers of blankets. The more blankets you use, the warmer you'll be.
- Drink warm beverages or sip some broth before going to bed.
- Wear tights or leg warmers to bed.
- Close the doors to all the other rooms in the house. This will help to stop the air from circulating and reduce heat loss.
- Put up curtains and lay down rugs in your room.
- Keep windows air-tight. Stuff a shirt or towel in place where the cold air can get in.
- Use an electric mattress pad, heating blanket, or bring a heating pad to bed with you.
- Wear warm clothing such as thermals, footed pajamas, and toe socks to bed.
- Put a hot water bottle under your covers and at the foot of your bed.
- Light a candle, they can produce heat. Be sure to blow it out before falling asleep!

- Warm and cosy all the way. 2 duvets and an extra fleece in the winter. Now that's what I call a bed.
