A Spell to Shine in Your Class or Business Presentation

Are you worried about that upcoming class or business presentation?  Once you know what you are going to be doing, the first of our witch spells is a great way to make sure that it goes well and reduce your fears about speaking in public.

Materials

A piece of topaz

A yellow candle
Sandalwood incense

1.)    After you have gathered your materials, cast a circle according to your own ritual.

2.)    Light the candle and the incense.

3.)    Spend several moments focusing on your breathing.  Breath slowly through your nose, allowing your lungs to fill completely with air before breathing out through your pursed lips.

4.)    Once you feel very calm and centered, visualize yourself going through your entire presentation exactly as you want to.  See yourself being confident, knowledgeable and smooth in your delivery.  If you have problems getting all the way through the visualization, return to your deep breathing.

5.)    After you have successfully visualized yourself giving the presentation, take the piece of topaz and pass it through the smoke of the incense and the flame of the candle as you speak the following incantation: As in my mind's eye/ so shall it be!

6.)    Repeat the incantation seven times.  Carry the piece of topaz with you for the presentation.  If you get stuck, take a deep breath and draw energy from the topaz.

A Spell to Study/Work Hard

Sometimes it is so hard to sit down and study/work.  The second of our witch spells for you uses rocks and crystals to help you maximize your 'focus on the task' time and make it effective.

Materials

A piece of hematite

A piece of quartz

A piece of calcite

A small dish or basket big enough to hold all of the rocks

1.)    After you have gathered the materials, begin by casting a circle with your own ritual.

2.)    Hold the hematite in your hands and speak the following words: To draw and retain in clarity/ lend me your powers today. Place the stone in the basket

3.)    Hold the quartz in your hands and speak the following words: To energize and awaken/ lend me your powers today. Place the stone in the basket.

4.)    Hold the calcite in your hands and speak the following words:  To make work a pleasure/ lend me your powers today. Place the stone in the basket.

5.)    Finally place the basket somewhere that you can see it as you study.  If your attention begins to wander, focus on the stones and the energy they are bringing you.
