Staying Inspired To Share The Love Of Your Saviour

He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation." Mark 16:15

I think we all get burned out from witnessing or least trying to witness. Myself, I'm having trouble just getting started. I've been trying to find some things in the Bible and online that would help motivate me to witness.

I think we all get the people who don't want to be witnessed too. People who don't have the time, people who don't care, people who just get outright angry or rude just from us trying to talk to witness. Maybe we hand out tracks and we know most of them end up in the garbage or sit around collecting dust in someones house.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30

God can give us strength when we are weary and burdened. And why wouldn't he? He told us to go into all the world and spread the gospel. This is something he really wants us to do so just pray when you feel down and tired and he will give you rest.

A. Your message maybe part of several messages that get them saved. We have to plant the seed then the seed needs to be nurtured to grow. As long as we are planting the seeds and staying faithful God will give the sunshine and rain that will make the seeds grow.

B. An experienced salesperson knows it takes on average 5-7 times for someone to hear a message for someone to act upon it. Winning souls is like sales, your selling the idea to someone to believe in Christ.

C. Just becuase you don't see anyone in church you witness to doesn't mean your unsuccessful in your witnessing. Some of them may not go to your church. They may end up going to a friend or relatives church or may wish to go to a church of a different religion. My mother in law eventually went to another church even though my wife kept witnessing to her. I believe she went to my wife's' aunt's church who has probably been witnessing to her for years. My mother-in-law may have fell to be more loyal to her sister then to her daughter.

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil." Proverbs 3:5-7

Trust in the wisdom of God. Trust in his word. Seek Him daily. Every answer you need is in Gods word. The more you read His word the more you will find out what you need to know. Reading the Bible is nothing more then God speaking to you.

Pray to the One for all His wisdom. Be daiy in prayer to God. Prayer is nothing more then you speaking to God.

Being daily in the word and daily in prayer will keep you in constant communications with God. Keeping you full of His wisdom and inspiriation.

I have been daily in the word and daily in prayer for almost a year now. Since December alone I been reading a Bible in one year plan at Biblegateway.com This is about three chapters (approx. 15 minutes a day) reading plan. I also have been reading a proverb of the day, verse of the day from Biblegateway.com and a promise of the day from 365promises.com. This summer I plan to start a 90-day Bible reading plan. Just Googling 90day Bible reading plan will give you several plans. However I made my own. Even though I am doing a Bible in one year plan I am going to stick with that along with the Bible in 90 days plan at the same time. I believe this will take approx. an hour and half each day for 90 days. This will take dedication and commentment to make it through such a plan.

In the past I've done a 40 day Bible reading plan. That took approx. three hours a day. I even heard someone reading through the entire Bible in ten days. I do not recommend either the 40 or 10 day plans. I do recommend between the 90day and one year plans. A friend of mine at church says you will find and understand a lot of Bible doctorine reading through as fast or faster then 90 days. I can't wait to find out.
