Universal Studios Florida to Create The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
So you enjoy the Harry Potter books? Can you imagine if you could go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter? Well soon you can as Universal Studios Orlando is about to built the World of Harry Potter - imagine walking through Hogwarts!
There was speculation for many months about a deal involving J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series of books and movies. At first there were rumors that Walt Disney World would be the one, but the deal has passed to Universal Studios.
Harry Potter Theme Park at Universal Studios
Admission will be included in the general admission for Islands of Adventure. Universal has not yet released many details, but it is clear that there will be multiple rides, attractions, shops, restaurants and experiences in the new land which will cover 20 acres. Guests will be able to go inside Hogwarts, and wander through Hogsmeade Village and The Forbidden Forest. A 'state of the art ride' is promised, which industry rumors suggest will use robotic arm technology to take passengers on a flying car ride.
There is also talk that the Duelling Dragons and The Unicorn roller coasters will be adapted to fit in to the new Harry Potter theme.
