Women's Rights Movement: Freedom Call - Young Women, Older Mature Women, Old Women

Women's rights, women's rights movement, women's birth control and women's reproductive rights, female reproductive system rights.  Gender discrimination, gender issues, gender politics.  Women as Goddesses in human form, the sacred feminine. The freedom call list goes on... ;-)

This is such a broad topic that I wonder about my sanity in starting this.  ;-)

This women's rights and woman freedom Squidoo lens will be a personal journey.  It will fulfil a need to explore and express my own ideas, feelings and knowingness about this topic and choose to share this journey via this Squidoo Woman Freedom lens.

Women's Rights Movement and Angela Chen Shui 

Women's feminism, female liberation, the women's rights movement and female equality: all slogans and ideas that I grew up with during my teenage and twenties years.

Today as a forty six year old woman with two children, one of whom is a daughter, I look out upon my world and often wonder why we women have still not chosen to create more freedom for ourselves.

Worldwide, older women, mature women, young women, beautiful women, ugly women, black women, pregnant women, asian women, fat women, latin women and alllll the long list of descriptions we call ourselves, continue to live in realities that do not honour us.

Societies worldwide still do not nurture the feminine spirit within every woman sister. We don't nurture ourselves spiritually, emotionally, physically or mentally.

Sure, women in western, developed countries enjoy privileges that the normal third world woman only dreams about. But even within western countries, none of us have to look very far from wherever we live to find women who live lives that do not fully reflect freedom, joy, full self expression, money abundance nor love.

The issues are complex, the wounds deep. Feminism goes back to the ancient split between the divine breach between the feminine and the masculine in consciousness.

God and Goddess, religion and spirituality, duality and consciousness. Economic freedom, political equality, business development, job mobility and pay equality. Men who want women to stay in their place. Women who hate the idea of the role of women evolving.

Fear and women and how we hold ourselves back.

This lens will look at many aspects of all of these. And many more. With your help and your participation.

Womens Rights Around the World: Birth Control Access 

A fundamental aspect of womens rights around the world and the womens rights movement has been the right of all women to have easy access to free birth control.

Womens rights and the balancing of the feminine with the masculine rests on many issues but women's right to control their female reproductive system is critical.

Worldwide, the this control of the female reproductive system has been conditioned. Women rights around the world has been affected by societies that systematically teach women that their primary role is to be mothers and sexual objects.

Womens limited education worldwide especially in the area of reproductive rights allows limited birth control access to safe and easily affordable birth control methods and birth control options.

As we transition through the most radical paradigm shift in consciousness in our collective human history, we're going to be creating and experiencing a complete opening up of womens rights around the world and this includes womens birth control methods.

How Faith-based Arbitration Shuts Out Women's Rights in Canada and Abroad.
Under Ontario's Arbitration Act (and similar legislation in other provinces), disputants can hire third parties to privately adjudicate their disputes, using any agreed upon rules or laws. The privatization of law is highly problematic. In family law disputes, dispensing justice behind closed doors, especially if religious laws are applied, will have damaging implications for the rights of women and their children.
