Don't want to give up your High-Heel Habit? Don't. Just restrict wearing them, to occasional wear. This will help reduce your chances of getting foot problems in the future.
I'm not going to get into a long-winded essay about high-heels, this is just a brief FYI.
High-Heels not only cause foot problems but other parts of the body can be affected as well. High heels have also been know to cause lower back pain, ankle injury, leg muscles pain, and bad knees, just to name a few.
Not to mention the other bodily pain, should you fall while primping and struting in your funky high-heels !
Keeping your heel size to 2-3 inches should be your plan.

Ooh, and this just in ! Wearing High Heels could cause--Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs).
UTIs What's up with that?
"When you wear heels, your pelvis tilts forward, which takes your hips and spine out of alignment.
The result is lordosis, a condition that creates pressure on the nerves in your lower spine.
When this happens, your bladder can't empty as it should, a precursor to UTIs. So if you're prone to chronic UTIs, consider kicking your high-heel habit." According to "Working Women Magazine".

I have worn high-heels maybe three times in my life. I didn't like them, and I didn't care enough to keep wearing them. They were SOOO uncomfortable, and I thought it was ridiculous to wear something that was so painful just because someone thought they looked good. Needless to say, I've never had a UTI, foot trouble, bad knees, or lower back pain associated with heels. Give me flats any day!
