Be a gentleman and be chivalrous. Treat the woman with respect and don't use curse words in her presence.

Be calm and composed and don't get angry at the drop of a hat. Open the door for her first, let her select the appetizers while at dinner and pay without hesitation. Don't start spouting off your political views and opinions at the first meeting. Instead, ask her questions, gauge her interests and allow the conversation to flow in that direction.

Last but definitely not least, don't expect a romp in the bed on the first date. Keep close to her, but too much touching on the first date is an absolute no-no.
