Research Assistance for Career Advancement for Women and Men

RACA: Not just for women. I have done some research to assist with career advancement. Finding good honest leads on the internet for a home-based business or career advancements isn't always easy. So, I did some home-work for those that want an on-line career. I set out looking for a few honest Web sites that actually help people find real paying jobs for career advancement. I selected only sites with good track records. Weeded out the scammers and spammers!

I do not think it is unreasonable for companies to do criminal back-ground checks before they hire. Some of these companies will be providing confidential information about their clients to you if you work for them. Naturally they want to know about the people's back grounds that will be working for them, or through their service. It really shows that the company cares about their clients!

Women For Hire Statement by Shelly 

Shelly wrote in guest book on Dec 5, 2009 ~ "The 2010 Census offers opportunities for employment on a temporary basis that I can certainly recommend after a month with the Census Bureau as a payroll clerk. It's an opportunity to build your skill set--I count it as being paid to go to school and build my resume a bit. All positions are considered temporary and intermittent. Positions are considered "projects" rather than jobs and though it is a government office, those hired for projects are not considered Federal employees. All that basically comes down to there is no opportunity for benefits or to file for unemployment after the project is over. Positions for most projects are discontinued every 8 weeks but most office positions will be then continued on. The 2010 Censu will go through September 2010, so it is an opportunity to get some income if between jobs or just supplement your income a bit. The first step is calling the Census Bureau in your area to schedule testing which is a timed 30 minute general knowledge test. Managers have a 2 hour test to take and extra paper work to fill out. You'll need to provide either 2 forms of identification such as a current driver's license and Social Security card or birth certificate. If you have an unexpired passport--that's all the identification you'd need to provide. A background check will be done and if hired, you will be fingure printed as it is a position with the Federal Government. I hope that information wiill help someone."
