Women's Sweaters the Warm Side of Comfort
Women's sweaters are the soft, warm side of comfort. Whether you are dressing for extremely cold temperatures or for a cool breezy evening a sweater is the perfect choice. A sweater is perfect choice of warm comfort and comes in many designs, shapes, styles and fabrics. Sweaters can be casual, sporty, trendy, fun, seasonal, and even dressy. Sweaters are a common part of every woman's wardrobe.
Favorite Materials
One all time favorite wool for women's sweaters is angora. Angora is used to create soft, gentle wool from the long hair grown on angora rabbits. Wool sweaters are chosen because they have long endurance and are extremely warm but wool sweaters must be lined or worn on top of other layers because they are so itchy. Itchy sweaters can be won on top of a light weight long sleeve cotton top. The most common and inexpensive material used to make sweaters is a cotton blend. Cotton is a soft material and is long lasting. When a sweater is created with cotton is mixed with other synthetic materials, the sweater will have increased durability and will be easier to care for.
Washing a Sweater
Always read the label on your sweater before washing. A sweater that is washed incorrectly can be irrevocably damaged. Shrinking is a common error, to avoid discoloration and shrinking read the label and follow the directions given by the manufacturer. Many sweaters today, especially sweaters made with manmade or synthetic yarn, can be machine washed and then cool dried. Cotton sweaters should be hand washed to help keep their shape and save them from picks and pulls. They can then be laid flat to dry as this will keep the sweater from getting twisted and pulled out of shape. Wool sweaters can never be dried in a drier as they will quickly shrink to sometimes half their size. If the sweater has extra decorations on it such as glitter or buttons then be sure to wash it by hand or in gentle or hand wash in the washing machine. Certain detergents are gentler on sweaters and are recommended to increase the life of the sweater. Woolight is a detergent that is frequently used to wash women's sweaters.
Be sure to try the sweater on each season to determine if it still looks in style and that it still looks fresh. A misshapen or ill fitting sweater can make a women's shape look large and lumpy so be sure to care for your sweaters and store then properly. Caring for your sweaters delicately will give you many seasons of warm beauty. Women's sweaters offer the warm side of comfort. For more on beautiful sweaters check out www.Womens-sweatershop.com.
